Cuddles Learning delivers STEAM programs at partner locations such as libraries, learning centers, and community spaces. Instructors teach small groups of students aged 5–13 using the CurioCamp system and digital devices (Chromebooks/iPads).

Cuddles Learning is a STEAM education company offering digital art and coding programs for kids ages 5–13. Through our CurioCamp learning system, we make creativity and technology fun, structured, and accessible. We partner with libraries, tutoring centers, and community organizations across the GTA to bring high-quality STEAM workshops and classes to families.

About the Role

We are looking for creative, engaging Pixel Art Instructors to lead lessons using the CurioCamp STEAM system. You will teach step-by-step digital art activities, guide students through weekly projects, and support their learning using structured lesson slides, scripts, and classroom SOPs. This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys working with kids and has a passion for digital art or game-style pixel design.

Responsibilities

-Teach Pixel Art classes using CurioCamp lesson slides and instructor portal

-Guide students through pixel design, shading, symmetry, color theory, and simple animation

-Support students with in-class exercises and homework tasks

-Follow CurioCamp’s structured class flow and engagement strategies

-Encourage students using our badge-and-reward system

-Ensure devices (iPads/Chromebooks) are set up and ready before class

-Maintain a fun, safe, and positive learning environment

-Communicate attendance and class notes to the Cuddles team

Requirements

-Experience with digital art (Pixel Art, Pixilart.com, Procreate, Canva, or similar)

-Enjoy working with children ages 5–13

-Strong communication and patience

-Ability to follow structured, step-by-step lesson plans

-Reliable, punctual, and professional

Nice to Have:

-Teaching/tutoring experience

-Familiarity with STEAM programs or sprite/game-asset design

-Experience using Chromebooks or iPads in a learning environment

Pay Band

$18–$20 per hour, based on experience and teaching ability.
